Katy Young is the Managing Partner for ExactSource. She joined ExactSource's legacy company, Matteson Partners in 2007 as the Partner, Client Services.
Katy manages all client services for ExactSource, and has direct expertise in Leadership Recruiting. Katy is the direct contact for all client services inquires, directs the marketing department, and manages technology, operations, HR and compliance for ExactSource.
Previously, she was an Associate Partner in the Executive Search industry where she focused her efforts in candidate development, industry research, and Executive Search assignments.
Jerry F. Schmidt devotes the majority of his time to the strategic direction of the company. Jerry works with select Matteson Partners and ExactSource clients on Organizational Effectiveness and Business Value Creation. Over the past 22 years, Jerry has been highly involved in Private equity and Venture investing as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Cordova Ventures.
Jerryʼs passion and business success over the past 40 years from Fortune 500 to venture and private equity has been his ability to identify, build, and develop superior talent driven organizations.
Wayne McDonald has more than 25 years business experience that includes ownership and executive management of both public and private companies. He joined ExactSource's legacy company, Matteson Partners, in 2003 and is now lead Partner for A+E leadership recruitment at ExactSource. His focus is in C-level and leadership searches for Engineering and Architectural Firms.
In 2001, McDonald became a Senior Professional Golfer at the age of 51 and competed with the top-ranking players on the Champions Tour. He has finished successfully in the US Senior Open, British Senior Open and Canadian Senior Open.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Indiana University. He also finished second in the NCAA, won the Canadian Amateur and was twice voted First Team All-American. Most recently, McDonald was named to the 2010 Indiana University Athletic Hall of Fame.
David Schmidt leads business development for ExactSource. He has more than 20 years of sales and sales management experience from venture-backed startups to Fortune 500 companies in software, technology and telecommunications industries. David brings a wealth of successful experience and knowledge in sales and sales processes.
David’s previous expertise included implementing the sales processes and hiring the lead generation and sales team for Preparis, an award winning Crisis Management Company. Prior to his sales consulting, David worked with Nexidia, a speech analytics company to manage the outsourced lead generation and inside sales function.
Bill Matteson founded ExactSource's legacy company, Matteson Partners, in 1987. With over 25 years of experience in executive search and leadership, Bill focuses on helping A/E/C firms in senior level searches with exclusive expertise in C-level hiring.
Bill is a subject matter expert in the search and placement of financial professionals such as CFO's, Controllers, and Corporate Audit professionals. With over 400 placements in the financial services area, Bill brings significant experience to A/E/C clients seeking financial talent expertise.
Prior to forming Matteson Partners, Matteson spent 18 years in a succession of managerial roles with the IBM Corporation, where he gained extensive domestic and international experience in sales, sales management, marketing, and human resources.
